A fuel water separator is used to remove contaminant water from gasoline or diesel fuel. Fuel water separators are commonly installed on boats to prevent water in the fuel from reaching the engine. Water is a particular problem for marine engines because of the humid marine environment. Call High Tech Marine for all your mobile maintenace and service on your outboard or inboard engine.

Water fuel separator filters on your Yamaha Outboard motor need to be checked and changed every 50 hours or after a high use summer. High Tech Marine recommends using a 10-micron fuel/water separator filter, especially for all EFI or HPDI engines.
